What Season 2 of Amazing Stories
The second season of this anthology, created by Steven Spielberg, John Falsey and Joshua Brand, keeps the format of standalone stories that NBC airs. The lead characters change every week, although all the stories take place in Los Angeles. The plots blend fantasy, irony and humor. A wax museum manager pulls a ring off a statue, and his wife, worn out from work, turns into a femme fatale. A clumsy student tests a potion that brings magazine models to life. A boy tries to get his sick grandfather to play one last baseball game, and a blocked screenwriter discovers that his houseplant is writing for him. Each episode features different characters, but all of them face situations they never expected.
