El Chavo: The Animated Series

El Chavo is a poor boy who lives with his gang in a vecindad in a Mexican town. His everyday adventures now arrive in the form of cartoons, with the children drawn to scale, which sets them apart from the original series, where the children were played by adults. Roberto Gómez Bolaños writes the scripts, based on episodes of El Chavo from 8. Canal 5 airs the production, which opens with episodes that retell stories already familiar from the original show. Since La Chilindrina does not appear, Ñoño, Popis and Quico take over part of her role in many episodes. The stories revolve around the daily lives of the building's neighbors.
