Synopsis of Animaniacs

Animaniacs follows Yakko, Wakko and Dot, three Warner siblings who claim to have been cartoon stars in the 1930s. According to the series, studio executives found them too zany and locked them in the Warner Bros. water tower in Burbank, California. Decades later, the three escape their confinement and begin roaming the studio lot, where they run into Warner Bros. himself. They want to get out of the tower, and the conflict stems from that confinement, which treats them as a problem. Each episode is split into several shorts starring different characters, full of music and humor. It was created by Tom Ruegger and first aired on Fox Kids before moving to The WB. Rob Paulsen voices Yakko, Jess Harnell voices Wakko and Tress MacNeille voices Dot.
