What Season 1 of Home Improvement

Tim Taylor, known as Tool Man, hosts a home improvement show on television sponsored by Binford. In front of the cameras he's a master of his craft, but at his home on the outskirts of Detroit his projects go wrong and his handiwork ends up causing disasters. Jill, his wife, and their three sons, Brad, Randy and Mark, live right on the front lines of those failures. On the other side of the fence, neighbor Wilson watches every attempt. The episodes follow the everyday problems of this middle-class family, from a dishwasher that gets wrecked to a job interview that doesn't go the way Jill hoped.
