In the sixth season, Tim's show, Tool Time, gets a boost, and Tim and Al watch their project grow. Brad has a girlfriend and gets a part-time job, while Randy tries to get closer to Lauren, who loves cars. Jill buys a foreign sports car with an inheritance and forbids Tim from driving it. Halloween pranks pit the Taylors against their kids, and Wilson keeps watching it all from over the fence.
