La Doña

Altagracia Sandoval, played by Aracely Arámbula, is an elegant, successful, and respected woman in Mexico City. She runs Sandoval Construction, a company she has built through sheer willpower and careful calculation. Behind that public image lies an old wound that has turned her into a hard woman, capable of manipulating anyone necessary to get what she wants. Together with her sister Regina and her niece Isabela, she heads a family that lives under her command, while her lawyer Braulio Padilla helps her pull the strings of her business dealings. Written by José Vicente Spataro and aired on Telemundo, the series explores a clash between ambition, resentment, and the thirst for justice of a woman who never forgets.
