Teresa

Teresa Chávez is a beautiful, intelligent young woman who grows up in a poor neighborhood and dreams of escaping poverty. Her parents love her, but she is bitter about life and has one goal: to break into the world of the rich by using her beauty. Awarded a scholarship to an elite prep school, she meets Paulo, a wealthy and popular boy among her classmates. Teresa sees in him the opportunity she has been waiting for, so she leaves Mariano, a boy from the neighborhood who adores her, and wins over Paulo without telling him where she comes from. Produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and airing on El Canal de las Estrellas, the series follows a determined heroine who is willing to leave her origins behind.
