Abyss of Passion

In La Ermita, a village on the Yucatán Peninsula, Elisa lives with her parents, Augusto Castañón and Estefanía Bouvier, in a home that seems happy. Also living in the house is Carmina, Estefanía's older sister, who harbors an unrequited love for her brother-in-law. On the other side of the village, Rosendo Arango and Alfonsina Mondragón share a tense marriage full of constant reproach, and their son Damián grows up in the middle of that atmosphere. Rosendo is secretly involved with Carmina, and both families live on edge about what lies behind their doors. Created by Caridad Bravo Adams and aired on Las Estrellas, the series follows the tensions within these families, where the secrets of the adults begin to weigh on the younger generation.
