Las Estrellas airs this Mexican telenovela, starring Angelique Boyer and set in Agua Azul, a town in Campeche. Montserrat comes from a family of high social standing, but their finances are in shambles. Her mother, Graciela, controls her every move to preserve the Giacinti family's status and hopes her daughter will save the situation by marrying Sebastián de Icaza, son of one of the most influential families in town. Montserrat doesn't want a marriage of convenience, especially since she is in love with José Luis, a navy corporal from a humbler background.
