Season two opens with Frank Black determined to find his wife Catherine, with the help of Peter Watts and other members of the Millennium Group. The group assigns him cases that take him to different places: deaths blamed on wild dogs in a town, the hunt for a carrier of a deadly disease, and a facility linked to the Human Genome Project. Frank keeps struggling with his visions, which let him step into the shoes of killers. Lara Means appears as another candidate to join the group, and Jordan shows a gift that is also part of the family history.
