What Season 1 of NCIS

Season one introduces the Major Case Response Team, which works out of the Washington Navy Yard. Its leader is Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant and sniper with a gift for investigation. The team handles the Navy and Marine Corps cases that attract the most public attention. The first assignment comes from Air Force One, where a Navy commander was traveling with the President. To solve it, the team enlists Kate Todd, a Secret Service agent whose connection to the group goes further than she imagines. The agents also face possible terrorist attacks and smuggling and drug plots, always tied to the Navy.
