Riot Police

August 2016. In a tenement building in central Madrid, six officers from a riot police unit must carry out an eviction, known in police slang as a "lanzamiento." Facing them stands a large group of neighbors and supporters who refuse to give ground, while the unit chief calls for backup over the radio as the operation goes wrong. Afterward, Internal Affairs opens an investigation into what happened. Laia, played by Vicky Luengo, follows the case with a tenacity that clashes with her superiors' rush. She senses the case hides more than it seems, and the officers, each with their own personal lives and conflicts, must decide what to do with the weight of what they have done on the street.
