What Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation

Season two opens with the crew of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D exploring the Alpha and Beta quadrants under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Each episode takes the ship to strange worlds and unknown civilizations, and diplomacy coexists with the threat of combat. Conflicts come from both outside and within. Counselor Troi faces an unexpected pregnancy, Data must prove in a trial that he is a living being, and Riker considers leaving the ship. The Borg appear in the Delta quadrant and put everyone to the test, while Picard takes on missions where dialogue matters as much as force.
