Synopsis of Sweet Magnolias
Maddie Townsend, Helen Decatur and Dana Sue Sullivan have been friends since childhood and live in Serenity, a small town in South Carolina. Maddie has just separated from her husband, Bill, and is the mother of three children. While going through the divorce, she tries to get back into the workforce. Helen is a lawyer, and Dana Sue is a chef and owner of a restaurant, Sullivan's. The three call themselves the Sweet Magnolias and encourage each other to balance romance, career and family. The series, created by Sheryl J. Anderson, streams on Netflix and stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley.
