Trivia about Firefly Lane

Netflix announced on April 20, 2021 that 49 million people had watched the series in its first 28 days after its premiere.

In the week of February 1 to 7, the series topped the Nielsen ratings with 1.3 billion minutes viewed in total.

Rotten Tomatoes recorded a 48% approval rating for the first season, based on 31 reviews from professional critics.

Joel Keller of Decider wrote that the chemistry between Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl will carry the series.

On September 21, 2021, Ignacio Serricchio joined the cast as a new series regular.

In the first season, Forrest Anthony is credited ambiguously as “Teenage Boy.”

Katherine Heigl was the first actress hired, and Maggie Friedman let her choose between playing Kate or Tully; Heigl chose Tully because the character was more challenging for her.

Netflix announced in October 2022 that the second season would be the last and would have 16 episodes divided into two parts.
