A Love Story Full of Hate

Abby Ritcher (Katherine Heigl) is a young producer of a morning TV show in Sacramento who struggles with love. Her search for "the perfect man" has left her single and hopeless, and she is starting to think she is incapable of romance. Abby is in for a rough time when her bosses decide she must team up with Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler), a rugged TV personality who promises to reveal the brutal truth about why men and women are the way they are. Surprisingly, Abby gets the unexpected help of her obnoxious host, who coaches her on her dates, putting her through a series of embarrassing tests to prove his theories about relationships. But the schemes of this man will lead to an unexpected result.
