Synopsis of Travelers
Hundreds of years in the future, humanity has created a quantum intelligence capable of sending consciousnesses back in time to the 21st century. The so-called travelers take over the bodies of people whose time of death is known exactly, and so they begin to live someone else's life. Set in Vancouver, the series follows a team of five travelers led by Grant MacLaren, an FBI special agent played by Eric McCormack. Each one must maintain the life their host already had, relying on social media and public records to do so. At the same time, they receive missions sent from the future to prevent a disaster that threatens humanity. The series, created by Brad Wright, airs on Showcase and Netflix.
