Synopsis of The Penguin
Oswald “Oz” Cobb was a former subordinate of Carmine Falcone, the crime boss of Gotham City. One week after the events of The Batman, Oz tries to fill the power vacuum left by the death of his former boss. The city remains devastated after the flood, and the underworld has no clear leader, so several factions are fighting for power. Oz, also known as The Penguin, wants to become a boss in his own right and give his mother, Francis, the life he promised her. To do so, he will have to face rivals both inside and outside the Falcone family, while carving out a place in a world that doesn't take him seriously. Created by Lauren LeFranc for HBO, the series stars Colin Farrell alongside Cristin Milioti.
