Synopsis of Marvel's Luke Cage
Carl Lucas is a former convict whose sabotaged experiment gave him superhuman strength and an unbreakable skin. Now a fugitive, he tries to rebuild his life in Harlem under the name Luke Cage, but the secrets of his past soon catch up with him. Mike Colter stars as the lead in this Netflix series created by Cheo Hodari Coker, set in the Marvel universe. While trying to keep a low profile, Cage is drawn into a battle for the heart of his city, where crime and corruption still operate in plain sight. Detective Misty Knight, determined to find out who he is, and Councilwoman Mariah Dillard, who wants to bring change to the neighborhood, round out the main cast of conflicts.
