Synopsis of The Terror
The Terror is an anthology horror series created by David Kajganich, Max Borenstein and Alexander Woo, and aired on AMC. The first season follows the crews of the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror, Royal Navy polar exploration ships. They have just left Beechey Island in the Canadian Arctic archipelago and are sailing south toward King William Island in search of the legendary Northwest Passage. Soon the ships become trapped in the ice. The survivors must endure a merciless climate and their own shipmates, while an elusive threat lurks nearby. Jared Harris, Ciarán Hinds and Tobias Menzies lead the cast.
