Synopsis of Castle Rock

Castle Rock is a psychological horror series created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason that airs on Hulu. It is set in a small corner of the Maine woods, in the fictional town of Castle Rock, and at Shawshank State Prison. Henry Deaver, a criminal defense attorney who specializes in death penalty cases, played by André Holland, returns to the town he left long ago, when neighbors suspected him in the death of his adoptive father. Now he receives a strange request: an inmate known as The Kid, held in secret for 27 years in an abandoned wing of the prison, asks specifically to speak with him. Henry must uncover who this man is and what lies behind the walls of Shawshank, while facing a town that has never forgiven him for his past.
