Synopsis of IT: Welcome to Derry
In 1962, Charlotte and Leroy Hanlon move to Derry, Maine, with their son Will, just as a local boy disappears. Leroy is a military man, and the family arrives because of his new assignment, while Charlotte fights for what she considers fair. Will, a science enthusiast, struggles to adjust to his new life in Derry. With his arrival, terrible things begin to happen in town. The series, created by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs, airs on HBO and stars Taylour Paige and Jovan Adepo. It is set in the 1960s, before the events of the 2017 movie.
