Cougar Town

Jules Cobb is a real estate agent in Gulf Haven, a small town in Florida, recently divorced from Bobby. At forty, she returns to the dating world and wants to make up for the time she spent raising her teenage son, Travis. To do so, she dates younger men, which is known as being a 'cougar.' Her friend Laurie, her assistant at the real estate office, encourages her to have fun. Ellie, her best friend and neighbor, tries to talk her out of dating. Meanwhile, Travis suffers the embarrassment caused by his two parents. The series, created by Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel, stars Courteney Cox and airs on ABC. The conflict arises from the clash between Jules's desire to feel young again and what her son and his group of divorced friends think about it.
