Synopsis of The Inbetweeners

Will McKenzie, a boy from a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of London, starts at a new school after leaving a private one. His mother has just divorced, and the move is driven by financial problems at home. He wants to fit in with the popular kids but doesn't quite manage it. He ends up befriending Simon, Jay and Neil, three classmates who are neither the most popular nor the nerds, but something in between. Together they try to survive school life, with their clumsy attempts at dating and their need to feel accepted. Created by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, the series airs on E4 and stars Simon Bird as Will.
