What Season 1 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

The series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. During a period of relative peace, Galadriel, an elven warrior, suspects that evil is spreading once again and decides to act. Her path crosses with Elrond, a half-elven politician trying to live up to his father, and with Durin IV, prince of Khazad-dûm. In the Southlands, the elf Arondir is in a forbidden love affair with the human healer Bronwyn, while the hairy-footed Nori, full of longing for adventure, seeks the unknown. The realms and their peoples face the rising of evil, from the Misty Mountains all the way to Númenor.
