What Season 3 of The Simpsons

Season 3 of The Simpsons follows the family of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie in Springfield. Homer works as a safety inspector at the nuclear plant, though his clumsiness follows him through almost every episode. Bart schemes nonstop, Lisa observes the world with a critical eye, and Maggie is still a baby. Conflicts come from several fronts: people think Homer has gone crazy, Lisa witnesses a corruption case during a trip to Washington, and Homer wishes Flanders' store would fail. Bart ends up working for the town's mobsters, and Mr. Burns decides to sell the plant, which affects all the staff. The season portrays middle-class life through very eccentric neighbors.
