What Season 1 of The X-Files

Fox Mulder is an FBI agent obsessed with the paranormal ever since his sister disappeared when he was eight years old. He is in charge of The X-Files, archived cases the FBI would rather forget. To keep an eye on his work, Dana Scully arrives, a skeptical doctor who looks for a scientific explanation for every case. Together they investigate unexplained murders, UFO sightings and mutant creatures. Mulder suspects a government cover-up, and an informant known as Deep Throat feeds him clues. Scully, secretly assigned to discredit the unit, begins to question her own certainties.
