This time, it's band camp.

The movie opens with a clip from "Malibu Stiffy," a pornographic production directed by Steve Stifler. While it plays, two friends discuss the film with a third guy, Matt Stifler, and compare the director to him to make him look bad. Matt is Steve's younger brother. In the first two installments of the series he was a supporting character, but here he takes center stage. His big dream is to break into the family business of adult films and prove to his older brother that he has the same temperament. Matt takes the challenge very seriously, although winning Steve over doesn't look easy.

Trivia about American Pie Presents: Band Camp

Variety reported that the movie sold more than one million copies in a single week, a figure listed in the sales section of its profile on IMDb.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a 17% approval rating based on six reviews, with an average score of 3.4 out of 10.

In Latin America it was titled American Pie Presents: Band Camp, while in Spain it was released as American Pie Presents: Band Camp.

Chris Owen and Eugene Levy reprise their roles from the previous American Pie movies in this film.

The musicians who appear as additional members of the band were part of the Riverside Community College marching band in California, brought in for the movie's musical scenes.

The website Matt Stifler uses to buy his video equipment, spychest.com, actually existed and sold those products; it later redirected to another domain.

Tad Hilgenbrink really did get naked during the trivia game scene and didn't warn the actresses beforehand, so their reactions are genuine.

The movie received two nominations at the 2006 DVD Exclusive Awards: one for the original music video "Band Camp Girls: The Music Video" and another for Eugene Levy as Best Supporting Actor.
