A romance with punch.

Alvy Singer, a somewhat neurotic guy, works as a stand-up comedian in nightclubs. At 40 years old, after breaking up with Annie, his latest girlfriend, he reflects on his life, recalling his loves and marriages, but especially his relationship with Annie, whom he met on a tennis court. In the end, he concludes that it is his quirks and obsessions that always end up ruining his relationships with women.
