El Infierno

As part of the celebrations for the Bicentennial of independence, Benjamín García, like thousands of his countrymen, returns to his hometown deported from the U.S.A. and finds a bleak landscape shaped by the economic crisis and the senseless violence plaguing the area. With no other option, and to save his family from misery, García gets involved in the drug trade, where he enjoys, for the first time in his life, dazzling prosperity, but also a sad and dramatic end. A satire of caustic dark humor about the drug trade, the economic crisis, the corruption and the irrational violence that afflict us, HELL makes us ask: Will this 2010 be anything to celebrate?
