Tad the Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet

Directed by Enrique Gato, the movie opens in the ruins of an ancient civilization in Mexico. There, Tadeo Jones examines some mysterious carvings on a wall while his dog Jeff explores the inside of the structure. Tadeo dreams that his fellow expedition members will accept him as one of the team, but they abruptly cut him off, order him to clean some brushes, and mock his work methods. Shortly after, having discovered an Egyptian sarcophagus and a pendant from a temple, Tadeo finds himself out of a job in archaeology. His greatest wish, to prove he has what it takes, runs head-on into the distrust of his former colleagues and his own clumsiness.
