Fading Grandeur

Don Leandro is a broke marquis who lives for appearances and dreams of being named Fading Grandeur. His debts leave him no way out, so he decides to sell the family townhouse his lineage still owns in Madrid, a once-grand mansion he can barely maintain anymore. When businesswoman Sofía Carrington, of enormous wealth, shows interest in the property, the marquis sees the opportunity he needed. The first episode focuses on the start of negotiations, in which Leandro must keep up his image as an aristocrat while trying to close the sale. Fading Grandeur was created by Álvaro Fernández Armero and Juan Cavestany, airs on Netflix, and stars Antonio de la Torre in the lead role, alongside Alexandra Jiménez and Enric Benavent.
