The United States is a post-apocalyptic world. A human variant of mad cow disease has turned much of the population into zombies, and survivors have learned to get by with basic rules to stay alive. Columbus is a former college student who has survived thanks to his own list of rules. He sets out from Austin, Texas, with one goal: to reach Columbus, Ohio, and look for his parents. From the very first moment, the road trip demands more than he is willing to give, because every stop could be his last. Directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring Jesse Eisenberg.
