What Season 1 of Castle

Richard Castle is a bestselling mystery novelist who lives in New York and has been suffering from a long writer's block. His inspiration seems to return when someone begins reenacting the crimes from one of his novels in real life. The police bring him in for questioning, where he meets Detective Kate Beckett, who is leading the case. She wants nothing to do with a writer who gets in her way, but Castle sees in her the perfect protagonist for a new book series. So he insists on tagging along on every investigation, although Beckett only accepts his company because her captain orders her to. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic bring this duo to life.
