What Season 4 of Columbo

Season 4 of Columbo keeps the series' formula: viewers know from the start who committed the crime. Lieutenant Columbo, played by Peter Falk, is a Los Angeles homicide detective who wears a rumpled beige raincoat and smokes cigars. He plays up his absent-minded act so his suspects underestimate him. The culprits are self-confident people, often well-off and powerful, such as a sports fanatic, the commandant of a military academy, or a wealthy psychiatrist. Facing them, Columbo asks seemingly innocent questions while gathering evidence to incriminate them. Among the stories, a friendly photographer plans to get rid of his domineering wife.
