What Season 1 of Evil

Kristen Bouchard, a skeptical forensic psychologist who once worked as an expert witness for the prosecution, receives an assignment from the Catholic Church. Together with seminarian David Acosta and technology expert Ben Shakir, she must examine miracles, possessions and other extraordinary events to determine whether they have a rational explanation or something supernatural behind them. Each case tests David's faith and Kristen's patience, and she also worries about her daughters. The phenomena include angel sightings, prophecies and conspiracies. The trio reviews the Church's archives of hidden events to look for answers.
