What Season 4 of Fringe
Season 4 kicks off when Peter returns to our world after sacrificing himself to save both universes. Nobody remembers him. Olivia, Walter and everyone else have forgotten him, as if he never existed. While Peter tries to find out what happened, shapeshifters led by an unknown mastermind sow destruction, and the Fringe Division on this side is forced to work with the one from a universe that until now was an enemy. Olivia copes with the absence of her partner, Walter suffers hallucinations he cannot explain, and director Broyles continues to oversee the group. The season suggests that human love is the decisive force.
