What Season 1 of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

Zeus seduces Alcmena, a young mortal woman, and from that encounter Hercules is born, a boy with unprecedented strength. Hera, Zeus's wife, torments the little boy from the start, while his father protects him from birth. Hercules grows up without him and always wants to meet him. As an adult, he travels through an ill-defined Greece with Eastern, Egyptian and medieval influences. Together with his friend Iolaus, he defends humble villagers from monsters, warlords and the selfish whims of the gods. Kevin Sorbo leads the cast of this series by Christian Williams, where adventure coexists with humor and nods to current issues.
