What Season 6 of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

Zeus, disguised as a man, seduces Alcmene, and from that encounter Hercules is born, a boy who is half god and half mortal with superhuman strength. Hera torments him from childhood, although Zeus protects him, and the hero grows up without his father, longing to meet him. As an adult, he travels through a Greece of an uncertain era, with Eastern, Egyptian and medieval elements, accompanied by his friend Iolaus. Together they defend humble villagers from monsters, warlords and the selfish whims of the gods. The conflicts lead Hercules to face a demonic copy of Serena, to break a spell over the Amazons, to answer the call of his old friend Vlad with Iolaus to fight vampires, and to help Oedipus and Antigone against the wicked King Creon.
