What Season 3 of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
Hercules is the son of Zeus, who took human form to seduce Alcmena, and from that union a boy with extraordinary strength is born. Hera does not forgive infidelity and torments the little boy from the cradle, although Zeus protects him. As an adult, the hero searches for the father he has never known and travels through an ill-defined Greece, where Eastern, Egyptian and medieval elements mix. He is accompanied by his friend Iolaus, and together they protect humble villagers from monsters, warlords and the selfish whims of the gods. His enemies range from pirates and assassins to a king who plans to build weapons of mass destruction. Blending adventure and humor, the series also touches on current issues.
