What Season 4 of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

Hercules travels through a Greece of uncertain time, with Eastern, Egyptian and medieval influences, accompanied by his friend Iolaus. Together they defend humble villagers from monsters, warlords and the selfish whims of the gods. The episodes mix adventure and humor with nods to current issues. Hercules, son of Zeus and Alcmene, still longs to meet his father, who has protected him since birth, while a jealous Hera keeps putting obstacles in her son's path. Among the conflicts are a half-spider queen, a pirate who joins the heroes, a trial against the hero and a dance competition at the Panathenaea. Ares and Callisto become recurring rivals.
