Trivia about Jaguar
In addition to Madrid, filming took place in the provinces of Almería, Toledo and Segovia, with scenes in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Villaseca de la Sagra and El Espinar.
The first season consists of six episodes of roughly 40 to 50 minutes each, according to the available information about its broadcast format.
Critic Javier Zurro positively noted that Bambú took a step forward by moving away from the whitewashing of Spanish history that he had criticized in other historical series from the production company.
Filming began on August 7, 2020, after the lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic during the first half of that year.
Netflix initially presented «Jaguar» as a project of two seasons of six episodes each, filmed back to back, although no later confirmation of a second season's premiere has been made.
The cast added Stefan Weinert, Jochen Horst and Lorenz Christian Köhler to play historical Nazi characters tied to the series' setting.
