Synopsis of Kaamelott
Kaamelott is a French historical fantasy TV series with a comedic tone, created by and starring Alexandre Astier. It airs on the M6 network and is set in the 5th century, in King Arthur's palace, in the Brittany of Arthurian legend. The story follows the everyday life of the court and the Knights of the Round Table, who, far from being noble and brave, turn out to be crude, naive, sometimes cowardly, disorganized and quite comical. Astier uses modern language and current situations to reinterpret the legend. In the first episode, King Arthur and his entourage begin to show their clumsiness and rivalries, while trying to hold together a kingdom that depends on men who are anything but heroic.
