What Season 8 of Murder, She Wrote

The season opens with Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) settled in New York, where she begins teaching at a university. Far from Cabot Cove, the small Maine town where most of the series takes place, the mystery novelist keeps running into crimes again and again. The settings multiply: a campus, a men's club, a computer academy, a Hollywood studio, a Las Vegas casino, or a Monte Carlo hotel. Jessica moves among friends, colleagues, and old acquaintances, several of whom fall under suspicion, while her investigations take her across half the world.
