What Season 12 of Murder, She Wrote

The season opens with Jessica Fletcher, a retired English teacher who, after being widowed, dedicates herself to writing mystery novels from Cabot Cove, a small town in Maine. Soon crimes surround her, and her cases take her far from home: to a beauty salon, to Aspen, to Arizona, to New Orleans, or to an Irish castle. Among the conflicts are a nurse charged with two crimes, a witness in a stock fraud trial who ends up in contempt of court, and a rookie sheriff who needs help. Charlie Garrett, a private investigator, shows up on several fronts and, without meaning to, complicates Jessica's inquiries, which move forward through observation and deduction.
