What Season 9 of NCIS: Los Angeles

The ninth season begins after the retirement of Hetty Lange, the head of operations who until now ran the undercover agents. Taking her place is Shay Mosley, executive director, who changes the team's staff as soon as she settles in Los Angeles. G. Callen and Sam Hanna remain in charge of the Office of Special Projects, going undercover under false identities to catch criminals who threaten national security. Sam, still grieving the death of his wife and living in a trailer on the beach, resists Callen's efforts to find a new partner. The cases take the team from counterfeiters to arms dealers, while Mosley oversees every operation.
