Synopsis of SAINT SEIYA: Knights of the Zodiac

Seiya, a fearless young man, is recruited by Mitsumasa Kido to become the Bronze Saint of Pegasus. As a child, he was separated from his older sister, Seika, who was kidnapped by Aioria, the Gold Saint of Leo. Now he endures grueling training with one goal: finding her. As an adult, he obtains the Bronze Cloth and arrives at the Galaxy War, where he must face other Bronze Saints and Ikki. Based on the manga by Masami Kurumada, the series opens with this battle between warriors seeking their place in the service of Athena, while Seiya keeps searching for his sister. Trivia about SAINT SEIYA: Knights of the Zodiac

The series was first unveiled in December 2016 at CCXP Brazil.
Shun, who is a male character in the manga and the original anime, was turned female before the premiere and drew criticism from fans of the original work.
Writer Eugene Son justified the change, arguing that the Saints needed more female representation.
The second season was split into two parts. The second part was announced on December 3, 2022, and premiered on April 1, 2024.
Ready Steady Cut gave it a score of 2.5 out of 5 and called the series "boring and uninspired."
In October 2024, the director announced that the series had come to an end after three seasons, with no renewal announced by the studio.
