What Season 3 of The Crown
The third season of The Crown moves into the 1960s and 1970s, a period of major change in which the royal family tries to preserve its traditions. The queen is wary of Labour leader Harold Wilson, who comes to power amid rumors of ties to the KGB and a climate hostile to the monarchy. Margaret goes through the breakdown of her marriage, while Philip feels frustrated at not achieving anything comparable to the landing on the Moon. Charles begins his relationship with Camilla Shand, and his family gets in the way. The Aberfan tragedy and the power cuts caused by the miners' strike force the government and the Crown to make difficult decisions.
