What Season 3 of The Last Kingdom

Alfred of Wessex watches his health decline, and with it his dream of uniting England is at risk. Uhtred, the Saxon warrior raised by Danes, must take command and face a new threat: the Danish warlord Sigrid. After a clash with Alfred, Uhtred flees north with his brother Ragnar, while Aethelwold forges an alliance against Wessex. Bloody-Pelt and the sorceress Skade try to persuade Uhtred to join their side. Aethelflaed, fearing for her life, asks Father Beocca for help, and Edward receives orders from his father to fulfill his duties.
