What Season 2 of The Last Kingdom

Uhtred continues to serve King Alfred, who aims to unite the English peoples against the invaders. At the start, Alfred sends Beocca north to rescue Guthred, and the priest asks Uhtred for help, forging a new alliance. Meanwhile, Abbot Eadred takes advantage of Guthred's weakness for his own ends. Uhtred seeks revenge for his people and the recovery of Bebbanburg, so every step forces him to weigh his loyalties between Saxons and Danes. Ragnar, Kjartan, Erik and Sigefrid move the Viking pieces on the board, and within the royal house Aethelred and Aethelflaed add tension.
